Ficciones

Ficciones is a collection of some of Jorge Louis Borges most compelling, philosophical (fictional) fantasies. The mind-expanding Library of Babble and the Garden of Forking Paths are among the outstanding short stories contained in the book.

Borges’s gift is to take complex concepts about subjects as obtuse as quantum physics, multiple futures, time travel, and metaphysical philosophy, and, through the disguise of fantastical fictional stories, demystify their secrets for his readers.

Ficciones is a window into a truly exceptional, imaginative, well-read mind (Borges was once known as “the man who had read all the books“, a fact that captures my imagination and wins my admiration), and is sure to expand your mind to a new way of looking at the world.

  1. I’d personally also like to say that most individuals that find themselves devoid of health insurance usually are students, self-employed and those that are not working. More than half of the uninsured are really under the age of Thirty five. They do not really feel they are looking for health insurance since they are young in addition to healthy. The income is frequently spent on real estate, food, and entertainment. Many people that do go to work either full or as a hobby are not provided insurance by their work so they go without due to the rising expense of health insurance in the usa. Thanks for the suggestions you reveal through this blog.
