If everyone likes you, you’re doing something wrong

The only way to be liked by everyone is to never say anything controversial or do anything extraordinary.

Any opinion worth holding will not be appreciated by everyone you come across.

Every idea worth acting on will make life more complicated – and more difficult – for someone else for a little while before it makes things better and easier for them.

Change is not popular – even when it is good – and if you are going to be a catalyst for change, you have to accept you’re not going to be popular all the time.

So ordinary people sit down and shut up.
